About us
History
- Principals began hydrogen generator research in 2000 at Eldat Communications (Israel) – focused on a rechargeable galvanic “battery” that efficiently produces hydrogen gas and electricity
- Expanded into nickel-zinc battery development due to similar electrochemistry as hydrogen generator module
- We believe we are the first to solve significant technical issues for zinc-based electrochemical production of green hydrogen, and for nickel-zinc batteries, to ensure reliable service and long durability
- Developed proprietary IP for metal ion management, charging methods, electrolytes
- Operated in stealth mode for over 15 years and recently filed key patents for the technology in support of exiting stealth mode
- Founded German subsidiary at the end of 2022 to become an active member of the European Hydrogen and Energy Storage Research community

Chaim Markheim
Co-founder and Executive Chairman
Previously founder and COO of Laser Photonics Inc., a developer of solid-state and excimer lasers for medical and scientific applications. Also held executive and financial positions with Campbell Soup and Atlantic Richfield. Earned a CPA designation and a B.Sc. from California State University at Northridge.
Oren Rosenfeld
Co-founder, CTO & MD Zn2H2 GmbH
Over 25 years of engineering experience. Previously served as CTO of Swedish retail technology company Pricer AB and as VP of R&D for Eldat Communication. Was named inventor on 4 U.S. patents related to green hydrogen production. Earned B.Sc. Degree in Physics from Ben-Gurion University.
